The Old ball and chain

Ah, the old ball and chain. It's all love and googly eyes at the start. But as years go by the rosy coloured glasses wear out and the grey reality seeps through. Suddenly every little mouth noise, sock on the floor and ugly laugh incites a whole other shade of red. But there you are, stuck, joined together in holy matrimony. "There's always divorce, you know." Not in the eyes of higher powers! Or your super conservative relatives... But they did say the deal was on only until death does us part... right?
